3. God warned mankind not to disobey Him by eatingfrom the Tree of
the Knowledge of Good and Evil. He said deathwould be the
result/consequence.

In Genesis 1 and 2 we learned
1. Some things about God-He is
 a. Eternal and supreme (sovereign).
 b. Perfectly powerful, perfectly intelligent,and present everywhere.
 c. Personal Creator and Communicator.
 d. Completely independent of His creation.
 e. Loving, and caring and good.
2. Some things about the World-It is
 a. Orderly in design and purpose (by Godcreating it).
 b. Originally made "very good."
 c. Like we observe today: 'according toits kinds."
3. Some things about Man-He is
 a. Made in God's image (likeness). He haspersonality which includes mind, emotions, will.
 b. Made male and female.
 c. Made to live in harmony within marriage.
 d. Given perfect freedom with only oneprohibition-not eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (ifthey disobeyed, death would result).
