Explore these three sites (above) and you will find links to and information about many opportunities and resources for composers. There is a lot out there: you just need to find it. Another particularly good collection of resource links is the Resources for Composers and Contemporary Music page at the International Alliance of Women in Music site.
Notation and Score/Part Preparation
Keith Hamel's Opus 1 Music, Inc.: home of my favorite little-known notation softwares, NoteWriter and NoteAbility Pro.
Mass-market printing/copying has come a long way, but if you really want it done right, your best bet is a business that specializes in music reproduction, such as Judy Green Music, Valle Music, or Aztec Music Papers. These are also great sources for manuscript papers, papers for printing in traditional music sizes, and other composer supplies.
