I am a Ph. D. candidate in the Department of Geography at Kansas State University. My research interests include remote sensing and GIS, especially as they are applied to spatial and landscape epidemiology, the analysis of the spatial distributions of operating ecology, and aspects of geography in Paraguay. I am now primarily involved in research studying the distribution of hantavirus in rodents in Paraguay. The goal of this research includes understanding how hantavirus spreads within rodent communities with a goal of possibly understanding how to predict and potentially avoid outbreaks of hantavirus into the human population. The online version of my Curriculum Vitae is here. Along with the usual professional information, .pdf copies of my published papers can be accessed in this online version of my CV. If you prefer, you can email me and I will be happy to send a copy of any of the articles to you. |
