Earth in Action


(GEOL 100, 3 Credit Hours, Lecture)









An introduction to the earth, including its composition, structure, and place in the solar system. Also covers the internal and surface processes that make life on earth interesting.


Dr. Clark generally teaches this course once or twice a year. A syllabus is available.


A separate field and laboratory course, GEOL 103, can be taken to supplement this course, and together they will satisfy a lab science requirement.

Students enrolled in Earth in Action may use their current class password to access the syllabus, past quizzes and exams, and visual aids from past lectures through the Earth in Action Review Page.
