Term Paper Requirements
The term paper must deal with a legal issue involving public natural resources, and your research for writing it must utilize legal materials. Please submit two (2) copies on paper, and one (1) copy on a 3.5" diskette, saved in Word Perfect format.
The term paper value is 35% of the course grade. I will be happy to visit with you about topics, to develop ideas and themes, to identify resources and to share resources already in my possession, and to review drafts submitted in a timely manner. Graduate student work will be graded by a higher standard.

Format:

- reference citations (pick an authority for manuscript style, cite it, and be consistent with it)
- page numbers
- latin phrases italicized or underlined
- ragged right margin
- binding
Clarity of description, analysis, and evaluation:
- sentence structure /continuity
- grammar
- spelling
