Extramural Funding

Since 2001 (and as of January 2007), grant and contract proposals that I have submitted as principal investigator have totaled over $600,000.  This amount does not include three KSU Faculty Development Awards (approx. $3,000) received during the evaluation period.  Nor does it include the more than $124,000 awarded as fellowships during my graduate studies.  Awarding agencies include the US Department of Interior National Park Service, USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service, American Geographical Society, State of Kansas, and Kansas State University.
