Emily Schneweis, president of the Teens for Life chapter at Bishop Carroll High School in Wichita, said that their senior class would have nine empty chairs at graduation. The empty chairs commemorated unborn children killed through abortion the same year these graduating seniors were born.

Each empty chair had a rose placed on a black cloth to remind the students of the effects of abortion and to encourage them to pray for the victims of abortion.
